Hi, I am Mark and I am 40 years old. I feel great today but a few months ago I felt horrible… I travel a lot with work, eat on the go, drink soda and coffee to drive 3-5 hours some days, sleep 6 hrs and push my body to the limit.  My wife’s birthday was in April and she wanted to go to a half day fitness bootcamp…I survived 45 minutes before I felt like I was going to pass out! I felt weak, lethargic, out of breath, sore, had a headache and overall just felt old and like crap! Mary Jane has brought many blessings into my life.  With her personal insights and encouragement and recommendations.

We have had several private coaching conversations and I have shared my struggles with her.  Over the years I developed a bad habit of snacking late at night and with menopause came hot flashes, more like hot floods, and waking up in the middle of the night and the only way I could go back to sleep was to eat some carbs.  And the pounds were creeping on and I was feeling horrible, sluggish.   Mary Jane recommended the ultimate reset diet.. which turned out to be the best thing I have ever done for myself.   The recipes were delicious and I found myself cooking with spices I had never used before which made it more fun and interesting.   I did not find the food part to be difficult.  The difficult part was making the time to prepare and also planning ahead for when you had to be out during for meal time.  If I had to I made salads ahead of time and packed a cooler in my car.    I made it work and the results were life changing.

The first day of the reset I made a huge discovery.  I never realized how much I pick, grabbing food while preparing dinner, while making my daughter’s lunch or just going into a cabinet for something and seeing a back of pretzels and just grabbing a few.  I found myself grabbing little bits here and there constantly and because those items were not on the reset diet, I found myself reaching for it and then saying “oh, that’s not on my menu” and immediately stopping myself.  This was a huge eye opener.

The next “miracle” was the late night snacking stopped.  I can’t explain it but I was able to say no.  There were one or two times during the 21 days I ate an apple late at night but that was the worse I did.

After 21 days I lost 8 pounds, lost inches  around my waistline, my clothes fit loosely now.   I have more energy, I sleep better, I’ve stopped the late night snacking.  I’ve received compliments on how nice my complexion looks.   After completing the reset diet I tried a piece of chicken with my salad.  The chicken sat in my stomach like a lump of led.  I’ve continued using the menu from the reset diet for the most part.  One night after finishing the reset I ate a bunch of pretzels while watching a movie, the next morning I woke up and my face was so puffed up and I felt so tired and sluggish, yuk.  How did I ever live this way!

I have continued to feel great with using Shakeology daily as well as the Optimize and Alkalinize. I have found that these supplements have boosted my energy and overall I feel stronger, happier and healthier!

Wow. The Ultimate Reset was not what I expected. 
I thought 3 weeks sounded like a short period of time- it seemed long! 
I thought I would really miss the evening glass of wine, and not so much the coffee- it was the opposite! 
I didn’t expect to like the food much- it was delicious! 
And I didn’t think I would lose lots of weight- I dropped 15 lbs, and my cholesterol dropped 85 Pts! (my cholesterol has been in the normal range once in the past 12 years, and that was after 3 months of Body for Life workout/diet and no alcohol).

We are really pleased with our reset. We both have a real sense of accomplishment for sticking so close to the plan (had to have a little caffeine on some mornings, especially on the road trip), and we both lost the weight we have been trying all year to lose. We are determined to incorporate some of the principles into our life style now- smaller portions, more vegetarian meals and healthy side dishes, moderation in the coffee/alcohol department, etc. We are also looking forward to getting back into the P90X2 workout routine.
